What are your rates for wedding performances?My rates vary depending on the length of the performance, the location, and any special requests. Please contact me directly for a detailed quote tailored to your event.

How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?It is recommended to book as soon as possible, ideally 6-12 months in advance, especially for popular dates. However, I will do my best to accommodate last-minute bookings if my schedule allows.

What is required to confirm the booking?To confirm your booking, a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total fee are required. The remaining balance is due 1 day before the event.

Where are you based and how far do you travel?I am based in Bristol, UK, but I’m happy to travel anywhere to perform at your wedding. For the 2024-2025 season, I’ll be based in Melbourne, Australia from November to April and in Santorini, Greece from May to October. I have had the pleasure of performing at events in various countries, including Thailand, Vietnam, Bali, Dubai, Seychelles, Mexico, USA, France, Italy, Spain, South Africa, Greece, and Australia. If you’re interested in booking me, just let me know your location, and we can work out the details!

Do you provide any other musicians if we want a duo or quartet?Yes, I can arrange for additional musicians such as a cellist, pianist, or a full string quartet if you prefer a larger ensemble.

Do you perform at both indoor and outdoor weddings?Yes, I am available to perform at both indoor and outdoor weddings. For outdoor events, please ensure there is adequate cover in case of inclement weather to protect the instrument.

What types of music do you play at weddings?I specialize in a wide range of music genres, including classical, contemporary, pop, jazz, and traditional wedding songs. I can also accommodate specific requests to personalize your ceremony.

What songs are in your repertoire, and can I request any additional ones?Please check my website to see my current repertoire. For wedding ceremonies or first dances, I’m happy to learn up to six additional songs that aren’t on my list. Just let me know about these requests at least one month before your event.

How long does a wedding violinist perform for?The length of my performance sets varies depending on the performance package booked. I can perform anywhere from a 15-minute show to a maximum of 4 x 45 minute sets or equivalent.

Do you bring your own equipment?Yes, I bring my violin and all necessary equipment. If amplification is required for larger venues, I can provide a sound system or coordinate with your venue’s audio team.
